Zwolle, the Netherlands, March 6, 2019 – We are pleased to announce that DME will re-open its Charlottetown based manufacturing facility under new CETP ownership. The organization, which was placed in receivership in November 2018, has been acquired by CIMC Enric Tank & Process B.V. (CETP).
Since 1991, DME has been designing and manufacturing craft brewing equipment in Charlottetown. Over time, the company grew to include the Newlands brand and expanded into other sectors including biotech and pharmaceuticals. Under new ownership, the DME and Newlands (NSI) brands will operate as DME Process Systems Ltd registered in Charlottetown and are in full operation as of today.
Combining strengths
The acquisition of DME provides the CETP group the opportunity to strengthen its position in the overall brewing market and further increase its manufacturing footprint in Canada.

Marc de Jong adds that many DME employees have already returned to work in Charlottetown, and that the facility is already once again fully operational.

DME Process Systems Ltd. will continue to manufacture both the DME and NSI brands out of the Charlottetown location. While DME Process Systems Ltd. is a new entity, they will work with previously installed DME and NSI breweries for any parts, service or expansion needs.
